Matt is a highly adaptable acting coach who curates an honest non-pretentious way into the work, using skills the performer already possess, combining them with his own experiences and tools to craft the kind of performance the artist is happy to stand behind. As a coach, Matt has worked with all kinds of performers - from network TV series regulars to post-grad university theatre actors. About Matt | The Educator
Matt was recently a teaching artist for the Rhythm and Revision program with Theatrical Outfit that partners with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Atlanta to bring storytelling and acting workshops to the underserved areas of Atlanta. He worked for several years as a teaching artist with Camp Broadway, brought artistic programing to schools that couldn't afford them with an organization in Alachua County, Florida and has gone back and taught numerous workshops at Florida State College Jacksonville’s Theatre Performance Program. He continues 1-on-1 coaching with clients on a referral basis.

Matt Mercurio (he/him) is a proud son of immigrants and a theatrically trained, award-winning American actor. Matt has over 50 appearances of major episodic television across networks that include ABC, CBS, AMC, NBC, FOX, USA, CW, STARZ, & HBO. On screen, Matt has had the honor of working alongside the likes of Will Ferrell, Tom Cruise, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Paul Rudd, Jennifer Garner & Joel Edgerton as well as Oscar Award winners like Reese Witherspoon, Al Pacino, Jamie Foxx, Helen Mirren & Rami Malek. He's worked with such esteemed filmmakers like Ang Lee, Doug Liman and Paul Schrader. Matt is a national finalist of the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship and recipient of the American College Theatre Festival's Marvin Sims Diversity Award in Acting.
